Drive early from Entebbe and stop at the equator for the water demonstration and pictures then have some coffee or tea or a snack then continue to Rwakobo Rock lodge for lunch then later do an evening mountain biking or walking safari to see some wild game then later have dinner and spend the night at this lodge.
Start with an early breakfast then do a morning game walk and cultural visit then drive to the breath taking thick forest of bwindi national park, as you travel you will make scenary picture stops and short visits to the extra ordinary activities of the locals by the roadside as you travel. This day, is filled with very exciting beautiful landscape viewing and the beautiful method of cultivation on the hills of western part of Uganda, the amazing ever waving children of that region make your heart merry.
This is the d-day, on this day, start with an early breakfast and you are driven to the briefing center in the southern sector of bwindi national park then you are prepared for the day’s hiking to the famous mountain Gorrillas and have an amazing experience with them for an hour. One can never tell how long you will spend in the impenetrable forest but that depends on how far the Gorrillas are and the pace of the group hiking to them. After this great experience, you will be driven back to the lodge.
Visit the batwa Pygmy communities and the local tribe around for an unforgettable experience with the pygmies who now live out side the forest having been evacuated from the bwindi national park in early 90’s, the pygmies used to share the forest with the Gorrillas till it was gazetted as conservation area.
